Welcome to the Churubusco Community Park. |

The Churubusco community
park started in the early 1950's as no more
than a couple of acres of land that was
donated by the Luckey family. With the help
of the Chamber of Commerce and Turtle Days
Association, playground equipment,
consisting of a few swings, a slide, a merry
go round, and a teeter totter was added. The
Boy Scout building was also added by the
Luckey family. Today the park proudly boasts
over 25 acres of land. The park now has:
* 5 Baseball / Softball diamonds (2-lighted)
*Batting Cages
* 4 Lighted Tennis Courts
* 1 Lighted Basketball Court
* Horseshoe Pitching Area
* Beach Volleyball Court
* Picnic Area With Pavilion
* A 12-stage Fitness Trail
* Fenced Skate Park
* New Soccer Fields
* Concession Stands
* Numerous Playground Equipment
as well as several acres of wooded area to
just kick back and enjoy Mother nature.
